I think my friends think I am nuts, but I love doing school on road trips! It's easy and fun to do unit studies on the road and your kids can't get up and walk away! Plus, then they arent glued to a game machine or DVD player all day- they use their brains and we have family fun time!
This trip is a long one! 1200 miles! Our coop did a Western "round up" a few weeks ago so I went with a western unit study!
I make notebooks for each child with all Burke work inside. The notebooks have sections for subjects. They flip through and we help them along the way! Probably the best part is that mom gets to drive and dad gets to teach- mostly! :) I'll post next what is in this units notebooks!
